The History of Independent Insurance Agents, INC.

Established in 1919 by Mr. Mark A. Myatt, Independent Insurance Agents, INC. has grown to one of the premier insurance agencies in Birmingham.  From our newly rennovated office in Birmingham's Lakeview district, we primarily serve Birmingham, South Jefferson County and North Shelby County for home, auto, life and business insurance.  Independent Insurance Agents, INC. is currently owned and operated by Paul E. Copper, Jr.  

Mark L. Myatt, Claude Small, Pat Patterson, Wallace Walker, Jim Callaway and a support staff of 9 make up the professional staff of IIAI.
